This week’s Northampton Radio High School Athlete of the Week is Amherst Regional senior cross country star Zada Forde.

Zada Forde is the leader of the Amherst cross country team and on Tuesday October 15 posted a personal best time of 20:36 to help Amherst clinch their third straight Valley North title with a win over arch rival Northampton.  Forde’s coach describes the senior as a quiet but powerful leader who has guided Amherst to an undefeated record through the first nine meets of the season.
